With the new D2 models, HK Audio presents the evolution of the proven PREMIUM PR:O D series. The completely redesigned look with a robust metal front grill not only upgrades the successful models visually but also provides the speaker with the necessary protection during use.

The new MultiGrip handles make handling easier in any position and also enable professional rigging using the well-known HK Audio flight wings. The next generation PREMIUM PR:O D2 also relies on the proven DSP electronics with advanced FIR filtering, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly operation.

The distinctive, distortion-free sound of the PREMIUM PR:O series really shines in live vocal reproduction, reducing listener fatigue and keeping the audience engaged and attentive longer.

Flexible All-Rounders

The new PREMIUM PR:O D2 series consists of five DSP-controlled fullrange and multifunction speaker cabinets, as well as the two basses PR:O 210 Sub D2 and PR:O 118 Sub D2. Following the "modular principle," the speakers can be flexibly combined for a wide range of setups—from stand-alone to 2.1 and monitor setups to full stack applications.

Thanks to these combination options, PREMIUM PR:O is also suitable for many installations where excellent speech intelligibility and transparent reproduction are required.

Efficient, Modern Technology, Easy Operation

The DSP-controlled preamp impresses with precise sound. EQ presets, tone controls, and FIR crossover easily handle acoustic challenges in live use. The D2 models’ user interface remains clear and straightforward—complex menu navigation is deliberately avoided.

Despite the high-tech interior, operation is very simple and intuitive following the plug'n'play principle. PREMIUM PR:O remains the easiest path to the best sound.

Professional, Safe, and Easy Handling

The newly installed HK Audio MultiGrips on the tops of the PR:O 112 FD2, 115 FD2, 112 XD2, and 115 XD2 ensure a comfortable and secure grip during loading, unloading, setup, and teardown. This means practical transport handling, plus the MultiGrips allow mounting of the HK Audio flight wings TB-45N and TB-45NQ—making professional rigging child’s play.

Spacer Tube

With Pronomic spacer tubes, tops can be mounted directly on subwoofers at the correct height. Almost all subwoofers already have a suitable mount. The spacer tubes screw on with an M20 thread. A locking pin secured with a fixing screw prevents accidental slipping. The robust design guarantees long life even under the toughest stage conditions.

Professional XLR Cable

Pronomic Stage Pro-Line cables stand for clean audio transmission and durable components. The high-quality connectors and the flexible yet robust outer jacket are fully stage-ready and won’t let you down in demanding situations. Only oxygen-free copper is used for Stage Pro-Line cables, ensuring lasting, consistent quality and corrosion protection. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature strain relief with clamping sleeves, so solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from impact noise and electromagnetic interference, such as from power supplies and power cables. This guarantees low conductor capacitance and crystal-clear audio transmission.
