Active Column PA System With Integrated Digital Mixer!
The RCF EVOX JMIX9 is an active 3-way column speaker system with an integrated 8-channel stereo digital mixer. Based on the acoustic platform of the EVOX J9, this system pairs powerful sound reinforcement with extensive signal processing, routing features, and wireless control. With 2100 watts peak power, a 130 dB maximum SPL, and precise dispersion, the EVOX JMIX9 is ideal for professional live, DJ, and presentation applications.
Acoustic Architecture
The high-frequency range is handled by a 1.75" neodymium compression driver with a True Resistive Waveguide. The dispersion pattern measures 120° horizontal by 40° vertical, ensuring even coverage of the audience area. Six 3" neodymium full-range drivers deliver defined mids, while the 12" RCF woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure provides controlled low-frequency reproduction. The usable frequency range extends from 40 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
Power Amplification and DSP
The integrated 2-channel Class-D amplifier delivers a total of 2100 watts, divided into 700 watts for the high-frequency section and 1400 watts for the low-frequency section. An internal DSP handles crossover, limiter, and protection functions. A soft limiter together with thermal and RMS protection ensures reliable continuous operation.
Integrated 8-Channel Stereo Digital Mixer
The EVOX JMIX9 features a fully integrated 8-channel digital mixer with 32-bit processing and a 48 kHz sampling rate. Four mic/line channels with combo XLR/jack inputs offer switchable phantom power, digital gain control, a high-pass filter, compression, and a 3-band EQ. Additional stereo line inputs and Bluetooth audio streaming allow flexible source feeding. Internal stereo reverb and ducking functions are available per channel.
Control and Connectivity
Control is via an integrated 2.4" color touch display with endless encoders, or wirelessly via the JMixRemote app for iOS and Android using Bluetooth Low Energy. Available outputs include XLR main out, XLR aux out, and a headphone output. The EVOX JMIX9 can be operated in mono or stereo mode.
Mechanics and Transport
The enclosure is made from rugged PP composite material with a steel grille. The column connects to the subwoofer via an aluminum spacer pole. The system is designed for mobile use and is supplied with a padded carrying bag for the column and pole.
