HK Audio Linear 5: The Subwoofer That Makes the Difference!
The series’ own bass reflex subwoofers form the solid foundation of the new LINEAR 5 MK II systems with uncompromising power and tight, defined bass reproduction down to the deepest low-end range. Easily selectable cardioid presets give users a significantly expanded scope for system configuration and access to the professional league. Stereo preamps simplify 2.1 setups.
As the most powerful subwoofer in the LINEAR 5 MK II series, the Sub HPA delivers significantly more energy in the low-end range than all other subwoofers in the series, thanks to its stiff, highly durable 18-inch woofer and powerful amplifier. This enables especially precise and punchy bass reproduction in an extremely compact size. It is therefore not only the perfect foundation for the LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA mid/high unit but also a strong low-end extension for LINEAR 5 MK II systems.
The high-performance DSP is remotely controllable via network and, together with the free HK Audio DSP CONTROL software, allows extensive processing options and precise sound tuning. Cardioid presets can be selected directly on the speaker and enable 1:1 and 2:1 cardioid setups in no time. PowerCon connectors with PowerCon Link simplify cabling and save cable material.
