The BC Acoustique EX-214 amplifier was designed with audiophile standards to ensure music lovers an authentic playback of their favorite tunes. It delivers 2 x 45W RMS (8 Ohm) or 2 x 70W (4 Ohm) and features both analog and digital connections as well as an integrated Bluetooth antenna.
The EX-214 offers two unbalanced audio inputs, a front AUX input (3.5 mm jack), a phono input, and a digital input (coaxial and/or optical), enabling connection to the latest generation of TVs. Additionally, it has a “Pre-Out” for bi-amping or connecting a subwoofer.
Top-Quality Components for Maximum Music Enjoyment
The S/PDIF input is paired with an AK4112 chip, and the analog-to-digital conversion is supported by a PCM1606 circuit from Texas Instruments. The maximum sampling rate is 24-bit at 96 kHz on the coaxial and optical inputs.
Digital Inputs & Bluetooth
Via the Bluetooth interface, you can easily stream your music, audiobooks, or podcasts from your smartphone or tablet. The optical digital input takes priority over the coaxial source—unless the device connected to the optical input is turned off.
