The XT25 tackles proximity and skin effects by combining existing Aircore and X-Tube technologies into a new X-Tube variant. By shaping the conductors into a tubular form with a hollow center, current densities at higher frequencies are maintained because the electric field contributing to the skin effect acts toward the conductor’s center, where the conductive material has been removed.
