The XT25 tackles proximity and skin effects by combining existing Aircore and X-Tube technologies into a new X-Tube variant. By shaping the conductors into a tube-like form with a hollow center, current densities at higher frequencies are maintained, as the electric field contributing to the skin effect acts toward the conductor’s center, where the conductive material has been removed.
The X-Tube technology first gained fame in 2005 with the launch of the world-renowned Silver Anniversary XT, the most respected mid-range cable globally, awarded What Hi-Fi Product of the Year three years running.
